about
Big Wave was written by Modern Moxie around the beginning of the COVID pandemic. An anger fueled rip roaring ride through all the emotions associated with political, biological and intellectual fear. An undercurrent of hope lives in the song as well through lyrics screaming for education and an uprising youth. The first single from Modern Moxie's upcoming 5-track EP, Gutter Honey out in March 2022.
lyrics
big wave, be safe
big deal, to kill
and I'm working on my chemistry
working on biology
working on my history
working on my memory
it's not your style
I think you're vile
time to realize
hitler in disguise
big wave, be safe
big deal, to kill
and I'm working on my chemistry
working on biology
working on my history
working on my memory
have you had enough
of children in handcuffs
time to wake up
fuck you trump
big wave, be safe
big deal, to kill
and I'm working on my chemistry
working on biology
working on my history
working on my memory
it's not your style
I think you're vile
time to realize
hitler in disguise
